Independence Day

Every year on 15th August, we celebrate Independence Day at our Sanity Welfare Society. Our president hoists the flag and delivers an inspiring speech. The day is filled with patriotic fervor as we organize sports activities, including a running competition, social activity lik eblood donation, in which our patients and all members enthusiastically participate. It’s a day of unity and motivation, reminding us of the importance of freedom and recovery.

Republic Day

On Republic Day, January 26th, we hold an awareness program featuring an organized tableau. Our dedicated volunteers participate in a dramatized act to raise awareness against addiction. This event serves as a reminder of our commitment to the values and principles of our republic and our ongoing mission to combat addiction in our society.

Client’s Birthday Celebration

We take great joy in celebrating our clients’ birthdays to show them they are valued and not alone in their recovery journey. Our birthday festivities include decorating the center with balloons and streamers, followed by a small party featuring cake-cutting, music, and fun activities. Clients can invite loved ones, emphasizing the importance of support and connection in their recovery.

International Yoga Day

Every year on June 21st, we celebrate International Yoga Day. Yoga, a natural and highly effective form of physical exercise, takes center stage on this occasion. We use this day to raise awareness about the benefits of yoga among our community. We conduct special yoga sessions to promote its practice and emphasize its significance for physical and mental well-being.

World Unity Day

World Unity Day is celebrated on October 24th. On this day, we come together to promote harmony and global togetherness. It’s a reminder of our shared humanity and the importance of unity in addressing global challenges. Collaborating with Unakoti district police we arrange various activities through which we emphasize the values of cooperation, peace, and understanding among all people, regardless of their backgrounds and differences.

International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking:

Every year, on June 26th, our organization marks the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. This day is dedicated to raising awareness about the significant issue posed by illicit drugs in our society. Our focus on this day centers around addressing the health-related aspects of the drug challenge. Our organization, along with our members, patients, volunteers, and doctors, organizes a rally on this special day. This rally serves as a powerful expression of our commitment to strengthen our efforts in achieving a society free from drug abuse. Together, we can make a difference.

Picnic

We arrange an annual picnic to offer our clients a refreshing break from their routine. This day is packed with games, food, and entertainment, fostering a positive atmosphere and strengthening bonds. It’s an opportunity to reconnect with nature, create lasting memories, and enhance morale. The picnic contributes to our clients’ overall development by promoting a positive and engaging learning environment.

Shilong Tour

We also prioritize our patients’ mental well-being. We organize rejuvenating tours to Shillong, creating opportunities for relaxation and rejuvenation. These outings foster a positive environment, promoting mental health and a sense of well-being among our patients as they connect with nature and enjoy moments of tranquility.

Clean and Sober Day

We observe clean and Sober day to commemorate our clients’ recovery journeys by marking the anniversary of their arrival at our rehab center. It’s a day of reflection, growth, and achievement, where we honor their commitment to sobriety. Through inspiring stories, heartfelt testimonials, and shared experiences, we celebrate their progress and resilience. It’s a testament to their strength and the support of our community in achieving lasting recovery.
